Which Wolf?

August 24, 20232 min read

"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

The way I work invites you to look within and find answers that are designed just for you. I wont offer a set To Do list to achieve Peace or a step programme to get you to “Destination of your choice”.

What I will do is invite you back, to what feels true inside you.

I have (plenty of!) ideas about what is true. And, I can always share these. But I have found it to be more helpful and impactful to wake up what is true within you.

Yesterday, I received this question from a member of our community

What to do when it feels like everything you once knew is falling apart and you no longer believe in yourself or the magic behind life?

And here is what I want to share:

You don’t have to believe any thought

You don’t have to believe in yourself

You don’t even have to believe in the magic behind life

Because that magic works whether you believe in it or not.

Do you believe in gravity? I don’t need to believe in it because I see the evidence of it (and yes, as I wrote this, I picked up a pen and let it go, just to see it in action!) It worked.

So, I would love to ask you this question ~ do you KNOW there is a magic to life?

Do you know that your experience is thought created?

When you believe the thought ‘everything I once knew is falling apart’ what experience do you think you will get?

Life only works one way.

The magic behind life is not dependant on you ‘believing’ it works. It simply does it’s job and creates the experience your mind is focused on.

How much time are you spending thinking about everything falling apart?

How much time are you spending reflecting on the magical experiences of your life?

I want to share this story with you

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

To what degree to you see the truth in this story?

Keep looking. Keep looking within yourself to find what is true for you.

The more time you spending reflecting on truth and magic, the more you will feed that wolf.

(Yes, it is that simple xx)
